Our Worms

087You may ask, “Aren’t all red wiggler worms the same?”  While it’s true that a red wiggler is a red wiggler, our worms are different in a couple of aspects.

  • How they are raised:  All our worms are bred in North Phoenix.  I have created the Worm Grotto™, a patent-pending method for raising them in the desert environment.  All Canyonland Worms red wigglers are grown outside, year-round.  And yes, they survive the heat of Phoenix summers.
  • What they eat: Our worms eat a very organic diet, including leaves from our trees and compost from our food preparation. I blend our coffee grounds, tomato ends, banana peels, strawberry tops, etc. The blend is poured into the worm beds for easy consumption and composting.
